Sitey is robust and user-friendly. If you want a basic website builder, you are safe with Sitey. This is because you need to pay extra to get the advanced features unlocked and there's also the lack of third-party integrations. However, you might get attracted with Sitey competitive entry pricing but you need to take note that it increases during the renewal. While this is the common strategy used by most of the company to gain market shares, you can sign up with the free plan before deciding.

In today’s technology-driven world, having an online presence is no longer optional. It doesn’t matter if you’re a freelancer, a restaurant owner, or an entrepreneur. You either adapt and make your brand discoverable online, or sit idly by as competitors hog all the attention.
Fortunately, there’s an abundance of site builders than pretty much everyone can use with ease. Sitey, in particular, can be considered as a hidden gem. It has everything you can ever ask for in a site-building platform — from a drag-and-drop editor to social integration.

What is Sitey

Sitey is an all-in-one website creation platform for all types of niches. Its main selling point is ease of use, which is highly important for those who have no clue in web development.
Here’s a closer look at how Sitey makes website creation a walk in the park:

Sitey Features That Help You In Building A Website

After creating your account, you’ll be taken straight to the main Sitey editor. If you have no experience whatsoever with site-building platforms, consider visiting the help center by clicking the “?” button.

Otherwise, feel free to explore and via the navigation menu. To smoothen the learning curve, here is a closer look at Sitey’s main features for site creation.

1. Creating a website is easy

With Sitey, you can freely adjust the appearance of your website by resizing and dragging elements around with your mouse.
A “context menu” will also appear above the selected element. This lets you perform different actions, such as deleting the element or adding a hyperlink.

Take note: Different element types use different context menus. For example, if you select a text container, the context menu would show text formatting buttons.

It's easy if you need to add more functions to your Sitey website.
You can do this by clicking on “Elements” from the main menu. This will bring up the tool palette where you can find all the content you can use on your site.

Just drag and drop the elements to the main Sitey editor.

Elements such as buttons, social buttons, and text have various formats. Just select the one you need and drop it anywhere on the main editor. Pretty easy, right?

2. Hosting your site in a few clicks

On top of its website builder, Sitey also eliminates the need for an external web hosting solution.
All you need to do is to click the “Publish” button to initiate the hosting process once you’re done creating your site.

You will then be asked to specify a domain name for your site. A preview of your domain URL will be shown at the bottom of the “Domain” text field.

To check out your website, head back to your Sitey dashboard. You should be able to see a link to your new domain in the “My Sites” section.

Take note that you need a paid account if you want a custom domain without the “” extension. To learn more about Sitey’s hosting capabilities and plans, you can refer to their help section by clicking the “Support” button.

3. Turn your site into eCommerce store

Sitey is equipped with everything you need to set up an online shop.
The simplest method is to use the PayPal integrations in the elements menu. These can be accessed in the “Elements” section.

Our verdict

Sitey is a blogging tool, page builder, and marketing platform rolled into one.
Although it has enough features to make veterans happy, it also has usability for absolute beginners. It may not be as popular as bigger site builders like Weebly, but it does offer a bang for your buck.

How to begin

The signup process of Sitey is pleasantly unusual. Rather than tossing up a registration page, it kicks off with a template selection screen. This means you get a preemptive peek at what the platform can do.

Once you find a template that you like, hover your mouse over and click the “Edit” button. Complete the registration process to continue.
