Introducing Zac Knoblauch
Today I am honored to have Zac Knoblauch as our interview guest. Zac is a very talented web developer/designer who blogs at Enfuzed and Zacs Blog. In case you were looking for some design inspiration, you should really go check out Enfuzed – he had published tons of awesome resources over there.
Like many other interviewees at WHSR, Zac is a Hostgator customer and had been hosting with the company for years. If you were searching for customer feedbacks on Hostgator, this is a must-read interview. So, without further ado, let’s get started.
I’m doing great! I appreciate you contacting me for this interview.
To start my name is Zac Knoblauch and I am a front-end web developer for the St. Louis, Missouri area. I mostly develop in WordPress and I dab a little bit in design work, although I don’t consider myself very good at it, I’ve created a couple of infographics, a free social media icon set, and I’m actually working on a flat UI kit for Enfuzed as we speak.
A little more about Enfuzed, it’s a web and graphic design blog that I started as a “for fun” thing back in March (2013). I used it as a place to practice WordPress development and it kind of just evolved into a blog that I would post design stuff that inspired me.
It is currently hosted at HostGator.
I’ve been with HostGator since 2010 when I was on their hatchling plan. Overtime I moved to the baby plan and now I’m currently using their VPS. I’ve had excellent customer service with them throughout my time hosting on HostGator. I never had any kind of issues with them until this summer when they had a couple hiccups, but they handled everything timely and with great customer support.
I’ve been with HostGator since I started making websites. I did work for a company in the past that used Network Solutions for hosting and we were constantly having downtime and other issues with them.
Thanks! That infographic really took off and I didn’t expect it to receive the attention that it did so I am very proud of that, especially since it was the first infographic I ever made. I plan to keep generating awesome and inspiring content on Enfuzed, hopefully making it one of the most renowned design blogs on the web. As I mentioned above, I’m currently working on a free flat UI kit that I think people are going to love.
