Summary
The mainstream has yet to discover WebHostFace, making the web host an amazing hidden gem. Their shared hosting (at $1.63/mo) and the new Managed WP Hosting plans are definitely one of the best in their class. Read on to learn more about my findings and host testing results.

Established by Valentin Sharlanov just a couple of years ago, WebHostFace has already managed to establish a reputation in the hosting world.

In case you are unaware – we interviewed WebHostFace boss, Valentin Sharlanov, twice at WHSR Blog (here and here) and started tracking its hosting service (under Face Extra Plan) since April 2016.

Sharlanov comes from a web design background, and he managed to use what he learned to create WebHostFace.

“Before WebHostFace, I worked on numerous websites of my own.” Sharlanov also worked on some e-commerce projects. He gained experience in web hosting by working as part of a team for a big web hosting company. These two occupations pretty much determined my career as I gained experience on both sides. That helped me immensely to develop my skills and deepen my knowledge,” says Sharlanov.

Today WebHostFace has data centers in four different locations and ample offerings at the time of this writing.

In this review, we will dive in to see if WebHostFace lives up to what it says it offers.

WebHostFace Hosting Plans

Shared Hosting Plans

WebHostFace has multiple hosting plans, with the most popular being the shared plans. Users get to choose from three different shared hosting plans – Face Standard, Face Extra, and Face Ultima. These plans range from $3.46 up to $9.95 a month; 15 GB to 30 GB of web space, and come with:

  • Unmetered bandwidth
  • Free domain name
  • Free Let’s Encrypt SSLs

Also, depending on the plan that you choose, you can get Premium Support, SiteLock Secure, a Free Merchant Account, SEO Boost, and more. You can set the hosting plans up in various ways. For instance, you can use CMS-based hosting platforms, like WordPress, Magenta, Drupal, or Joomla; or you can go with a framework-based option, like Laravel. Regardless of the platform you choose, these are all under WebHostFace shared hosting options.

WebHostFace Exclusive Discounts

Exclusive: Promo Code “WHSRPC”, 85% Discount

Yes, you read it right – 85% discount. WebHostFace is slashing 85% off their original price for all WHSR visitors. Price before discount $10.90/mo; price after discount $1.63/mo.

For exclusive discount, visit: WebHostFace.com/whsr-deal

I don’t think you need me to point out how amazing this deal is. It’s very rare to lock in such a huge discount on hosting nowadays. I am extremely grateful to Valentin Sharlanov – who made this deal possible and recommend you guys check it out.

Note that you will need to subscribe for 3 years upfront to qualify for this deal. However, the total cost of your bill will be $59 (for the entire 3 years); which is still lower than many other hosting services for just one year.

Reseller Hosting Plans

Reseller Hosting is another option. It comes three different ways. You can get Reseller Standard, Extra, or Ultima, with prices that range from $15.96 up to $31.96 a month. All of the packages come with a free private DNS, and the storage ranges from 40 GB to 120 GB. The monthly bandwidth ranges from 400 GB on the low end to 120 GB a month on the high end.

VPS Hosting Plans

Then, you have the VPS ready-to-go packages. Choose from Face VPS 1, 2, 3, and 4 packages. Get them with 20, 40, 80, or 120 GB of space. They range from $9.95 a month all the way up to $79.95 a month, and they are scalable so you can add what you need to them to make them work for you.

Dedicated Hosting Plans

Dedicated server hosting is also an option with WebHostFace.

For Dedicated Hosting Plans, you’ll get your own private server so you’ll have complete control in your server locations (between U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific).

Select from Entry, Enhanced, Premier, and Enterprise servers. These options range in price from $116.10 to $323.10 a month depends on your server specifications and locations.

What I Like About WebHostFace

A hosting company with real faces

During my time using WebHostFace, one thing stood out above the rest. Just as the name suggests, this is a hosting company with a face. They reveal the people behind the company. It’s a smart business strategy. It makes you feel that you are working with people you know instead of a nameless company. Plus, I’ve deal with Valentin Sharlanov a number of times in the past, and I know him to be knowledgeable and helpful. That gave me a lot of confidence in using this company, and he didn’t let me down.

Outstanding server performance

And when I mentioned “didn’t let me down” – it’s especially the case when it came to server performance. WebHostFace server is lightning fast and reliable – my dummy site (which I shifted over since April 2016) loads quickly and scored extremely well in various tests.  It’s no surprise to see WebHostFace is guaranteeing users’ satisfaction formally (via Service Level Agreement).

Site Uptime

Uptime score for the last 30 days: 99.64%. Things are not looking good for Web Host Face at this point. We will update our Web Host Face ratings if this persists,

WebHostFace Service Level Agreement (SLA)

14.1 WebHostFace will use commercially reasonable efforts to make our services available with 99.9% network uptime of the time during each monthly billing cycle. If WebHostFace is unable to meet this service level, you will be eligible to receive a credit to apply to future service billing cycles based upon the Unavailability for that month.

14.2 For the purposes of this agreement, Unavailability means that either (a) the hosting service is unresponsive, or (b) hosting service returns a server error response to valid user requests for more than 60 seconds of consecutive requests.

Flexible / Room to grow

There is plenty of room to grow at WebHostFace. This is great news if you plan to build a bigger website in the future but wish to save costs on hosting now – just stick with the shared hosting plans to start and upgrade later.

Also, WebHostFace VPS users get to scale up according to their needs. You can add more gigabytes to your RAM or just CPU power or just storage in your VPS package.

Secured hosting environment + daily backup + free icons

In addition, WebHostFace offers a secured hosting environment, and it includes a daily backup. This is a big feature for plans at such a low price point. In addition, all of the shared servers are isolated from one another. That means that if someone on your shared server does a vulnerable installation, your site won’t be compromised. This type of security is almost unheard of with affordable shared servers.

I was also really impressed with the free resources that are available. There are tons of icon sets and packs, and new ones get released constantly. For instance, WebHostFace releases icon sets for the summer, as well as special icon packs for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Important to Know

WebHostFace Lifetime Hosting Packages

While there are a lot of things that I like about WebHostFace, there are still a few things that are important to note. Most importantly, you need to know that when you renew, you are going to pay quite a bit more than you paid at signup. In fact, the regular price is 100% more than the signup price. You can avoid the sticker shock by choosing one of the lifetime hosting packages, though. Then, you will just pay a lifetime one-time fee. This is a great way to save some money on your hosting fees.

No Adult Content

Also, WebHostFace doesn’t allow adult content. If you’re hosting an adult site, you will have to go over to one of the competitors to get it done. Otherwise, WebHostFace is a good option for hosting.

The Bottom Line

The mainstream has yet to discover WebHostFace, making this an amazing hidden gem. Of course, I’m not the only person to know about this hosting site. Just look at the customer feedback on forums, and you will see that there are lots of happy customers who are more than willing to talk about how great WebHostFace is. Because of that, don’t be surprised if it ends up growing in leaps and bounds.

WebHostFace is best for individual bloggers/site owners – whether you are just starting out or you have a huge audience. I highly recommend WebHostFace.
