September rounds out the third quarter of the year and small businesses now move into the final quarter of 2014. It's a good time to learn from fellow experts, review hosting companies and begin to make plans for any changes you'd like to approach in 2015.

Exclusive Web Host Interviews

Recently, WHSR has featured several exclusive interviews with experts. Michael Lavrik, the Director of Business Development at Interserver took the time to tell us about what motivates him, what makes Interserver's hosting services unique and even offered a few business and web hosting tips.

Earlier in September, Jerry Low interviewed Karl Zimmerman, Founder and CEO of Steadfast. Zimmerman shared a little about Steadfast's hosting services and also their IT services, including cloud hosting, network management and disaster recovery.

Next, Jerry Low talked to HostMetro manager Kyle Dolan. While HostMetro is a relatively new company, Mr. Dolan has more than 10 years experience in the hosting industry. He also gives readers a sneak peak at future plans for HostMetro.

Comprehensive Hosting Guide

The biggest difference between a shared and VPS hosting is how server resources are being shared. Note that dedicated server resources (such as RAM and CPU power) are allocated to each VPS slice.

One of the most important things we do here at WHSR is educate readers about web hosting. This month, we added a comprehensive VPS hosting guide, so you know what to look for and how to choose the right VPS host.

If you're short on time, you can scan our handy infographic on the same topic.

WHSR also took the time to review StableBox. Check out the review and if you like what you see, you can get a lifetime 35% discount on their hosting service.

Blog Writing

Another thing we try to do at WHSR is help you create better blogs, better written blogs and better SEO for your blogs. In September, Lori Soard covered the Who What Where When and Why of Excellent Blog Writing. You'll never miss another important point again!

Luana Spinetti covered 9 Ways a Personal Blogger Can Turn Into a Niche Blogger. Gina Badalaty talked about 5 Creative Ways to Find Blog Topics for Clients and Lori rounded out the blog writing topics with How to Find Interview Subjects and Conduct an Expert Interview for Your Blog.

Web Hosting and Free Icons

Jerry Low tackled the difficult and sometimes confusing topic of overselling.

When you finish reading his article titled No Overselling Web Host: What Are Your Options, you'll have a clear understanding of what overselling is and what you need to do about it.

Things are hopping here at WHSR as we wrap up this quarter. You'll want to spend some time exploring our blog and reviews to see what all is new. We've even added another icon pack to help you enhance your website with unique graphics.

This one is called the Flat Icon Pack and contains images of a shopping cart, camera, keyboard, pencil coffee cup and many other easily recognizable emblems.

Check back with us in October to see how what we're covering for fall and how we can help you make your business better than ever.
