August has been a busy month here at WHSR. We’ve welcomed two new writers. Jason Chow, who has worked with WHSR in other capacities wrote his first article for us in August titled “Basic Twitter Analytics: Free Tools, Excel Cheats, and Inside Tips“. Jason digs into Twitter’s analytics as well as alternatives to using the basic twitter stats. By understanding how social media is working for you, you can easily adapt what you’re doing for better conversion rates from social media campaigns.
Michael Karp is also joining our team as a new WHSR writer. You’ll start to see post from him in late September/early October. Michael runs the blog Copytactics, which teaches people how to grow their online businesses. He’ll have some amazing tips about blogging successfully, so stay tuned for more from him. Vishnu Supreet continued with his WordPress series, sharing tips on how to paginate WordPress with WP-PageNavi. You’ll learn what the plugin does, how to use it and both advantages and disadvantages of this and other WP features.

Here at WHSR, we often cover the topic of monetizing your blog in different ways. We want to see you succeed with your blog and one of the best ways to do that is to try different types of monetization tactics until you find one that works best for your target audience.
Even if you have a low traffic blog, you can still benefit by reviewing products and making connections in the industry. Gina Badalaty interviewed Louisa Claire of Brand Meets Blog and gathered some tips on how to get paid even if your blog doesn’t receive a lot of traffic yet. The two even discussed how to reach out to brands.
